Extended Andrade Family
Joseph Andrade (bottom left) - Dad
My Dad never went to college; he works for the city of San Jose, Ca Waste Water Treatment Plant. Living the struggles of life without a degree, from a very young age, my Dad has implanted the idea of college and getting a degree into my siblings and my brains. He is the hardest working person I know teaching me to live life with honesty, integrity, compassion, and a good work ethic and to take pride in everything I do. He has taught me to be proud of the Andrade name and to embrace its tradition of family. He is and will always be my Hero.
Mary Andrade (bottom right) - Mom
My Mom never went to college either as her and my Dad were high school sweethearts. My siblings and I were bread for success as we grew up with a stronge catholic faith and the stronge encouragement of our parents to succeed in whatever we did. There is no one in this world that loves more than my Mom. She has taught me compassion and selflessness,
Ryan Andrade (top right) - Older Brother
Ryan is the best older brother anyone could ever ask for. He has always lead a prime example for my siblings and me and is always there to give a helping hand. At such a young age Ryan has accomplished so much, He graduated at the top of his class in engineering at UC Davis receiving the Gausi Award, then moved onto Graduate School at Stanford, and now works for Google on the self-driving car. He is truly an inspiration and it is very encouraging to see all his hard work really pay off.
Kristina Andrade (second from the right) - Sister-in-law
Kristina is my brother Ryan's wife. Being that she is from my home town and started dating Ryan in High School, she has always been a big sister to my twin, little sister, and me. She is one of the most kind, friendly, and fun people I know. She received her Bachelors Degree from Sacramento State in Child Development and now works in San Jose doing caring for about 12 toddlers. She really has a gift with people, and especially with children.
Justin Andrade (third from the right) - Myself
Madeline Perez (top dead center) - Girlfriend
Madeline is my beautiful girlfriend of many years. We met my first year at UC Davis and have been together ever since. She is a very good student majoring in Marine Biology and will be getting her degree in Fall 2012. She loves to travel and her hobbies are sailing, cycling, and theater. She has been a strong encourager of my engineering career with her Dad being an Engineer and growing up with a strong mechanical basis. Her family is from the beautiful town of Santa Barbara.
Hilary Hunt (third from the left) - Twin Brother's Girlfriend
Hilary is my twin brother Jason's girlfriend and has been around for a while as well. She also met my brother at UC Davis as they were both on the NCAA Division 1 swim team. Hilary is an amazing swimmer earning a full ride scholarship and many success to come. She is majoring in psychology and will graduate in Spring of 2014.
Her family is from San Jose, not too far from our home town Hollister.
Jason Andrade (second from the left) - Twin Brother
Jason is my identical twin brother and the closest person in the world to me. I do think it is a little strange that our career paths are so different. Jason was a premed student at UC Davis and a NCAA Division 1 Big West Champion on the 3-meter Spring board for the swimming team. He currently works in Los Altos for a physical therapy company while working on secondaries for Med School.
Nicole Andrade (top left) - Little Sister
Nicole is my baby sister. She is ten years younger than me and aspires to go to UC Davis like her brothers and be a Roller Coaster Engineer. Currently, she does very well in school and also very competitive in soccer and volleyball. She is doing a fine job of filling the shoes of her older brothers. She has a lot of great examples supporting her and it will be fun to watch her grow up.
